This article applies to client-managed VPS or Dedicated Servers who wish to integrate with our WebsitePanel (vs. a stand-alone installation)
To integrate with our WebsitePanel system (webpanel.appliedi.net), please first download the WebsitePanel manual:
WebPanel Manual 092910.pdf – (Sections 1.1 to 1.3 are applicable to you – see below for installation procedure)
We recommend using the following procedure:
- Install the Server Components via Web Platform Installer

(select the option “Install Spotlight Components plus PHP/MySQL related components using Web PI”) - After installing the Server Components from step one, jump to page 17 in the PDF manual and perform steps in pages 17-49.
** NOTE: if your server has R2 Service Pack 1 installed (Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1), please install the following patch after following the steps in the manual above:

(be sure to .zip the original ‘bin’ folder as per the instructions before replacing the files with the patch files)
When complete:
Please email support@appliedi.net with the following details so we can integrate your server into our control panel system:
Email Subject: WebsitePanel Integration Request
Please provide the following details in the body of your email:
- Your Server Name
- Your Server URL (usually in the format of http://your.ip.address:9003)
- The password you configured for WebsitePanel
- The drive letter of your server’s data drive (i.e. E: or D:)
