8. Creating Private Nameservers at HostGator

This demo assumes you have a domain name registered through HostGator, and starts from their home page.

Now let’s learn how to create our own custom private nameservers.

Click the "Domains" link in the main menu.

Then click "Manage Domains".

Enter your email address and password, then click "Log In".

Select the domain for which you want to create nameservers.

Then click "Private Name Servers" on the left.

Enter the new name servers and associated IP addresses, then click "Save Name Servers".

That’s it! You’ve successfully created custom private nameservers for your domain name.

Please note that it could take up to 24 hours for your new private nameservers to propagate and be recognized across the internet.
